Why should I participate?
To engage in a dialogue on European challenges of today and tomorrow
To learn meditation and mindfulness techniques that can be introduced to personal and organizational life
To connect with young from across Europe and build bridges of friendship
To hone your leadership, diplomacy, cultural, intercultural communication, critical thinking and self-development skills
To increase your skills in team-building and leadership
To acquire an invaluable set of skills for making a positive impact on your community and country
To strengthen the network of youth organizations in Europe and support connection between each other

At the individual level, we will help you to:

  • Explore ways which can boost productivity at your work
  • Connect with yourself and discover your inner potential

At the organizational level we will help your organization:

  • Create new paths on how to improve your organization and your work through introduction of a mindful approach at various levels

Am I eligible to apply?
Please find the details about elifibility below:
Young European leaders who are preferably between 18 and 35 years old
In charge of youth European organizations of the following countries: Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuanis, Luxembur, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montengero, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Ukraine.
Able to communicate in English

How can I apply?

I am not from one of the eligible countries, can I apply?
Unfortunately you are not eligible to apply if you are not from one of the eligible countries. However, we are working on developing more Peace Summits for different regions of the world, so stay tuned! You may be eligible for one of the other summits.

What is the cost of participation?
50€ for all participants (the fee covers accommodation, food and materials)
The participation cost has been set with a view that it is considerably affordable for participants coming from all backgrounds. However, international participants are expected to cover their return traveling expenses and visa cost.

How to pay the fees?
We will announce later how to pay the fees to all selected participants.

Are the costs covered?
Yes, both accommodation and meals costs are covered. However, participants are expected to pay their travel and VISA expenses.

I cannot afford my travel and/or VISA expenses, can you help me?
We do check individually each petition of monetary support. Please, send us an email explaining your situation to [email protected] and we will reply you as soon as possible.

What is the deadline of application?
Applications will be opened on 16th of November and closed on 22nd of January 2015

When will I know the result of my selection?
Announcement of all successful candidates will be on mid of January

Will organizers support in visa process?
An electronic acceptance letter will be issued to all shortlisted participants and that can be used for your visa application, but it is personal responsibility of the applicant to obtain a visa in time for the Summit. It is crucial to start as soon as possible since obtaining a visa may take a while in many countries.

What do I get after taking part in the summit?
You will get a diploma that will certify your participation in the 1st European Peace Summit. Discover about our fellowship and training opportunities. Become partners for future projects.

Will there be any free time during the summit days?
The program of the summit will be intense, therefore if you want to visit Hungary and Budapest, we advise you to arrive few days before the summit or stay few days longer after the summit.
